Luton Town: The Rebirth

The story of Luton Town Football club is cemented in English Football history.


The journey from Non-League to Premier League is iconic and thought to be impossible; and it wouldn't have been possible without certain heroes who helped guide the Hatters back to the big time.


Luton Town; The Rebirth is a documentary that delves into the thoughts and reactions of ex Luton player, manager and current chief scout Mick Harford, current Hatters player Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu as well as dedicated luton fans with thier own stories to tell. In addition, an honourable mention to a Luton great - Ron Baynham who has a rounded 400 caps for Luton Town as well as having made cameos on the international stage for England alongside, then captain, Billy Wright in the mid 1950s.


The omnipotent voice of BBC Luton cmmentator Simon Coxley provides his expert analysis and storytelling alongoside a ew words from Non-League expertand BBC radio presenter - Ollie Bayliss.


This documentary aims to provide a sense of relation for any football fan - to understand the trials and tribulations of a club like Luton in the modern game and how important the community is to such an original Football club.


Luton Town: The Rebirth will be released on December 2nd.

Luton Town reached the Premier League in 2023, finishing their climb back to the top of English Football after relegation to Non-League Football in 2008-09.

 

This documentary follows the icons and fans which kept the club going in its darkest hours and focuses on the transition of the old fashioned club to today's Premier League.
